American Voice Over Artist for HPE & NVIDIA
I recorded this voice over in an American accent for a global commercial campaign from my home studio. Categorizing this project was a bit challenging—it felt like a mix of both commercial and corporate narration to me. This film announces an exciting collaboration between HPE and NVIDIA. How Do I Record Commercial Voice Overs from My Home Studio?
Great question! Let’s go behind the scenes to see how I approached this project:
Step 1 – I recorded a custom audition for the project (If you need an audition for your project, feel free to ask!)
Step 2 – I got the job! Whooo hooo!!
Step 3 – Once I received the final script and music, I recorded the voice-over on my own. Since there was no live-directed session for this project, I delivered three WAV files for the team to choose from.
Step 4 – I waited for feedback to see if any adjustments were needed, but there were none! They created a fantastic video using the files I provided.
Step 5 – And just like that, the project was complete!
Special Thanks for This Project!
A huge shoutout to Scott Tunnix for his recommendation! I was thrilled when award-winning British voiceover artist Scott Tunnix reached out to let me know he had passed my details along to Dark Matter, a strategic consultancy specializing in the tech industry.
Dark Matter also produces incredibly important documentaries. I just watched their film Butterfly, which tells a gripping true story about cybercrime. You can check it out here: https://www.butterfly.film/
You can also follow Scott on Instagram—here he is with a few of his awards!
