American-Accented English Voice Over for Plantala: Roots of Evil | Nominated for Best International Female Performance at the One Voice Awards
For the Plantala: Roots of Evil project in the popular game DOFUS Touch, I had the honor of portraying a malevolent spirit in this immersive update. This unique role allowed me to explore a dark and mysterious voice, perfectly suited to the eerie atmosphere of Plantala Forest—a place rich in natural treasures but fraught with unexpected dangers.
A Creative Collaboration with Ankama
This project was born from a collaboration with Pierre-Jean Beaudoin, producer at Ankama. After a detailed briefing and an initial prototype, I recorded multiple versions in my professional studio, leveraging my flexibility and ability to embody complex roles. These recordings were then refined and integrated by Pierre-Jean Beaudoin to create the final version.

The world of Plantala is full of mysteries. This dense and verdant region of Pandala holds invaluable forest resources, but also harbors dark forces that threaten the surrounding areas. My role was to bring this threat to life through an immersive and chilling voice-over, capturing players’ attention from the very first moments of the trailer.

This work was celebrated within the voice-over community and was nominated at the One Voice Awards 2022 in the category Best International Voiceover Performance - Female. Being recognized at this level for such a distinctive performance was truly an honor, especially considering there were over 3,000 submissions for these prestigious awards. The One Voice Awards are presented at the conclusion of a major industry conference—a fantastic opportunity to learn, network, and meet fellow voice-over artists in person!
